Sure, Stacy Lewis is no longer the NCAA National Champion. But it’s quite obvious the Ladyback senior is destined for bigger things. There’s no question Lewis will be turning pro this summer, just in time to defend her title at the LPGA of Northwest Arkansas event. In addition, Lewis proved once again this weekend that she is one of the best in the world.
Lewis led the U.S team to an impressive victory in the Curtis Cup, whipping the European team made up of players from Great Britain and Ireland. It’s also the fashion in which she did it, going 5-0 in competition, the first player in Cup history to win 5 matches.
Safe to say, Lewis will be a former Razorback fans will be watching for years to come on the pro level.
